Now that you have written your own Sound Blog I would like you to critique a classmate's blog. We will assign you a person in class today.
You are to comment on their blog, and answer the following questions. Each of the following should be at least three (3), complete sentences.
1) Which part of their description captured you and why?
2) How did they describe their sound (what writing tools did they use?)
3) What could they have done to bring their sound more to life in their writing?

Sensory Detail: Sound

You will find various sound clips of our everyday world. Often times we forget to simply listen to the sounds around us because we get focused on the object producing the sound.
Using literary devices (think similes and metaphors) and focus as well as showing, not telling, select one of the sound clips from the website and in words describe the sounds, paint a picture with your words. This should be a minimum of 15 sentences. You should also include the working link to your sound clip.
